Corey Young

CEO

Corey Young was the founder CEO of Cuffr, a payments software for small businesses. During this time Corey was a featured fintech speaker at LA TechWeek. Cuffr was sold to Anovia Payments in spring of 2017.Prior to Cuffr Corey was the CFO and VP of Sales for SignaPay, an ISO of Esquire Bank. There he oversaw all finance related issues for the business as well as led sales efforts for the inside sales force. Corey also helped SignaPay find and acquire their own payment gateway PayHub. Corey led the effort to integrate the two businesses and consolidate all the operations and finance functions. Prior to SignaPay Corey was the Controller and oversaw IT at Professional Flooring Supply. Corey has a Masers in Accounting and Finance as well as a Masters in Networks and Communications. Corey received his BS in Family Financial Planning from Texas Tech.

Dustin Siner

CRO

Dustin Siner is a 25 year veteran in the in financial technology. As an accomplished sales leader, Dustin has a track record of driving revenues and profit growth. He has lead organizations and teams in sales and business development, relationship management, marketing, operations, and risk mitigation. Prior to his current role at AFS, Dustin served in senior leadership roles at TSYS, TransFirst, and First American Payment Systems. Dustin has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Colorado, is married with two grown children, has one grandchild, two crazy pups, and currently lives in the Dallas/Fort Worth area.

Cortnee Fagundes

VP Operations

With over 22 years of Industry experience Cortnee is a proven senior leader with diverse experience in all aspects of operations, client boarding, deployments, implementations, call center management, customer service, technical support, knowledge management, quality assurance and vendor management. She is continuously focused on opportunities for process improvements and best project management techniques. Cortnee is a subject matter expert across all areas of payment and processing solutions, including merchant acquiring, card brand, e-commerce, mobile and integrated payments, customer analytics, gift card programs, global processing, and CRM use. Cortnee is a collaborative professional with years managing international, remote , hybrid and multi-location teams to hit goals and exceed expectations. She partners with cross-functional leadership to define complex project requirements, build plan consensus, and coordinate all initiatives through to completion. Cortnee’s tenure has included working for Cayan, TSYS and most recently Global Payments before joining AFS.

Jared Garfield

VP Risk

Jared began his career in merchant processing in 1998 as a Risk Investigator for NOVA Information Systems (now Elavon). Since his initial role at NOVA, Jared has had the opportunity to work for multiple companies within the industry from smaller ISO's and PayFacs to some of the largest processors in the industry like Global Payments and Worldpay where he spent 12+ years overseeing transaction risk for the US business. Jared has had the unique opportunity to have been involved with risk, specifically transaction risk his entire career as he truly has a passion for developing fraud strategies and mitigating losses. He is also a 20+ year active member of the Merchant Acquirer's Committee (MAC). Prior to starting his career in the processing world, Jared was a Military Policeman in the United States Marine Corps.

Jessica Wachendorf

VP Marketing

Jessica is currently the Vice President of Marketing at AFS. She oversees the marketing team for all marketing strategy, content strategy and creation, budgeting and planning. Prior to AFS, Jessica worked for ten years as a marketing executive in the commercial real estate field specializing in SEO, copywriting, Google analytics, PPC/SEM, paid social, web design, website development, social media marketing, content marketing, brand strategy, etc. Jessica holds a B.A. in photojournalism and anthropology from Syracuse University and a professional digital marketing certification from Southern Methodist University. She resides in the DFW area with her husband and two-year-old daughter.

Accomplished Sales & Business Development executive with over 12 years’ experience driving sales in the Fintech industry. Experience includes leadership of Business Development, Relationship Management, Training, and Merchant Sales teams, development of innovative marketing strategies to increase recruitment and activity, forecasting, and P&L management. Applies clear direction and uses a comprehensive understanding of regional markets to translate strategy into the delivery of targets. Streamlines operations to enhance efficiency and boost profits, develops, and inspires sales teams to success, and promotes a data-driven approach to decision-making. Cultivates trusted relationships with key stakeholders including decision-makers within client organizations.
